Natural DE Powder is a diatomaceious earth-based desiccating powder designed for use in poultry housing. It works by drying litter to help reduce ammonia, moulds and fungi, while deterring the build up of mites and other crawling insects. 

How it works

This natural powder is made from fossilised diatoms (hard-shelled algae). When applied to poultry housing or directly to birds, it creates a dry environment that helps prevent mites and insects from thriving.

Directions for use 

• Clean poultry housing and remove old bedding for best results 
• Apply powder to areas where mites hide such as perch ends, nest boxes and crevices 
• Rub into perches and spread across flooring after cleaning 
• Can be used dry or mixed with water and applied as a spray 
• Add to dust baths so birds can self-treat

Applicatioin guide 

• Mix approximately 15g (4tablespoons) with 4.5 litres of water for spray application
• Alternatively apply dry directly to surfaces and bedding
