Chicken Vet Anti-Peck Spray has been carefully formulated to help reduce the incidence of feather pulling and feather pecking in poultry. It is designed to discourage antisocial behaviour within the flock by leaving a strong bitter taste on the feathers, helping to curb pecking before it becomes an established habit. 

The ready-to-use spray is suitable for use when one bird is being targeted by others in the flock, from milk feather pecking through to more aggressive behaviour.

How Anti-Peck Spray Works 

The clear spray contains Bitterex®, a strong bitter tasting ingredient that helps deter feather pulling and feather pecking. 

For best results, spray not only the affected bird but also the other birds within the flock. Treating the whole group helps prevent feather pecking from becoming a widespread habit. 

Continue using the spray for at least seven days. Repeat treatment if required.

• If necessary, spray all birds within the flock
