Due to the current restrictions in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic, and with the health and safety of both our staff and attendees of upmost importance, we are moving our Chicken Vet Training Days online, launching our first webinar training day in September 2020.

This will allow you to learn from the comfort of your own home, office or practice.

Our webinar training will closely follow the format of the in-practice days, covering all of the same modules including the post-mortem examination that will be demonstrated virtually by one of our poultry vets.

Our course is designed to give vets the knowledge and confidence that they need to identify and diagnosis poultry diseases and to treat them in practice. On a Chicken Vet Training Course, you will learn about:

• History of the chicken

• Husbandry

• Legislation & Law

• Behaviour & Anatomy

• Post-Mortem Examination

• Blood Sampling Techniques

• ‘The Clinical Approach to...’- discussion of the clinical presentations seen in practice

• Therapeutics & Preventative Medicine

The Chicken Vet course is presented by vets and technicians from Chicken Vet's parent company, St David's Poultry Team, one of the leading poultry practices in the UK.

The next dates for the training are as follows:

Wednesday 23rd September 2020

Thursday 26th November 2020
