Introduction
Alison Colville-Hyde, a qualified Veterinary nurse with a wealth of experience in keeping chickens is now tutoring courses in all aspects of Chicken keeping.
The courses are both factual and informative, covering some history, essential needs for chickens, common conditions and treatments plus frequently asked questions. Alison’s experience of working in animal health (disease control and welfare) as well as managing large scale organic chicken production across the West Country and currently working as a Field Services Manager for St David’s Poultry Team means that the content of these sessions are filled with invaluable advice.
She has also successfully bred, hatched and reared her own chickens. These chickens have been exhibited with success at poultry shows, and she currently keeps a small flock of Indian Game chickens, therefore knows the joy of poultry keeping.
Alison will be available to offer expert advice on what would be of benefit to your chickens.
